Can you believe we’re already trading pool days for pumpkin spice? Fall always feels like a fresh start—kids are back in school, evenings get cozier, and the leaves remind us that change can be beautiful. I hope your family (furry friends included!) is soaking up these cooler days.

Where'd Summer Go?

September kicked off with a family adventure to Duluth, MN. It was Rae’s first time there, and our first time seeing the big ships come in. We also had a surprise encounter with a bear up close… and I’m pretty sure I walked away with a few extra gray hairs!

Market Update 

As of today (09/12/25), the average 30-year fixed rate is about 6.33%, though rates do change daily. A 1% difference doesn’t slash your monthly payment by thousands like many expect (check out the chart below). But here’s the good news—if rates drop significantly later, refinancing can help you take advantage of those savings over time. In other words, don’t let today’s rates hold you back from finding the right home. As always, the choice is YOURS—and no matter what you decide, you have my support!
